Vacations
From the moment you arrive at Fish River
Lodge you will immediately find a relaxing
pace. Wayne and Tenley will greet you and
get you oriented to their operation. Once
you're settled in to your camp the days are
yours to rest, relax, explore...
The pebbly beach is favored by children who
will swim from dawn to dusk! Of course
adults enjoy sunning and reading from the
beach as loons swim by. You can fish
directly from the dock but we also have
canoes and boats available for rent or you may wish to bring your
own. There is docking space available on
the premises and a public boat launch is
just a mile up the road. The average summer
temperature at Eagle Lake is between 75 and
85 degrees with cool nights for easy
sleeping. There is usually a light breeze
off the lake and it is seldom uncomfortable
with little or no humidity.
